Featured listings for boarding businesses
Licensedkennels.co.uk is an independent directory of council-licensed kennels, catteries and home boarders, built from the councils’ own published registers. Every licensed business is listed free — and if you’re on a council register, you can upgrade your entry to a featured, verified listing.
Featured listing — £9/month
- Featured position — your business shown at the top of your council’s page in the directory.
- Verified badge — we re-check your animal-boarding licence against the council register before the badge goes live.
- Website link — owners click straight through to your own site from the featured entry.
- Monthly term, cancel any time — £9/month by card via Stripe. No contract, no setup fee.

The honest version
Listing is free — paying never changes the data. Every business on an official register is already in this directory at no cost. The upgrade buys placement, the badge and the website link only; it never adds, removes or edits a register record.
This is a new directory. We won’t invent traffic figures. What we can promise: every record is sourced from the council’s own publication with a retrieval date, and featured spots are sold at launch pricing — £9/month here versus £29/month on our longer-established directories.
Paid placements are labelled. Featured entries are marked as paid placements, in line with UK advertising rules, and the register data around them stays exactly as sourced.
Independent, not official. We are not a government body, licensing authority or regulator. “Verified” means one thing only: your licence record matched the council register when we checked.
